Tyce was a Monkey for Halloween and Jade was his Banana! We thought the Monkey was perfect for Tyce because of his big cute cheeks and big round belly! We went with a bunch of friends here to a very high end gated community here in Florida. It was so much fun! This community does Halloween like I’ve never seen. All the houses are all decked out and all the kids were driving around the neighbor in golf carts!
Tyce had so much fun, and he got a glow stick at one house that just made his night. By the time we made it back to our car Tyce had passed out. He was so cute in his Monkey suit- although I was worried he was too hot- it was like 90 degrees all night!
We had a wonderful Halloween with Tyce and we are having fun eating all his candy too!!

Our little Tyce is 1! I guess that is old news since we posted our visit to Discovery Gateway a while ago. In addition to our scientific private birthday party with just Tyler, Tyce, and I we threw him a ‘small’ party with just family and a few friends. Small doesn’t really describe the turn out- because Tyler and I have at least 30 close family members each, and adding our few friends on top of that gave us a pretty big party.
Tyce had so much fun! He just loves his Grandma’s and Grandpa’s and all his aunts and uncles and cousins! Tyce and Avery loved dancing together for all of us, and it is the cutest thing ever! Tyce also loves the Utah grass and went crazy when we let him wonder out on it for his party. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him so excited. (I can’t let him loose on this Florida grass- he would probably disappear )
Tyce is a little shy- like me J. But he is the sweetest little bug and always had a smile for everyone- even when he was buried in my neck with his binky in his mouth. He got so many wonderful presents! He got so many that we had to borrow 2 suitcases to get all of them home!
He enjoyed his cake very much! I made 2 of them, one with a caterpillar on it- I ran out of room to write his name and I wasn’t about to mess with the design- so we had a second cake to write ‘Happy Birthday’ on- and he had so much fun piling it in.
We are so proud of our little Tyce. He is so so sweet. And he is so smart. He provides so much entertainment with his dancing and babbling and head butting. He lights up the room when he is in it and we are so grateful to have such an amazing baby boy.

Tyler, Destiny, and Tyce went over to Seaworld to play on Tyler’s Birthday. It was so cute to see Tyce actually enjoying and interacting with his surrounding. He especially loved the Shamu and Seamore shows. Make sure to check out the video.

Destiny was cute enough to get some of the friends together to enjoy a fun saturday for my birthday. We did it on a beach were we could pull the boat up to the beach. It was a lot of fun.
We had a great time on our countries birthday. We started out with an extreme home made water slide at our friends house. They have a massive hill in thier backyard that made conditions right for a great Slip n’ slide experience. You have got to check out the hilerios pictures and video below.
Afterwards we went down to Disneyworld and watched the Magic Kingdoms fireworks that they made even better for a special 4th of July presentation.
Happy 4th of July everyone and don’t forget the ultimate sacrafices so many of paid to provide with the glorious freedoms we enjoy.

Happy Easter! Easter is one of my favorite holidays! It is so special to my heart. For Tyce’s first Easter we got him a new church outfit. G-ma and G-pa (and Fam) sent him a super cute bunny that he loves and a cute Jesus book. Tyler read the Jesus book to Tyce and it was soooo cute! We had to have a quick Easter morning b/c we have church at 9:00 am, our church is a half hour away and it takes me like 3 hours to get ready (not kidding- but Tyce takes up a lot of that time)… but it was super cute and I felt SO grateful today for the atoning sacrifice Christ made so that my beautiful family can live together forever with Him.

For the 4th of July we went down to Provo, Utah to the “Stadium of Fire.” Appearing there was talk show host Glenn Beck, the Blue Man Group, and Miley Cyrus. We thought the program started out wonderful and we were feeling a true united spirit in our country. Many soldiers and their families were there, and we heard some of their thoughts and stories.
It started with a prayer which I thought was great and to hear over 50,000 people say “Amen” to thanking our Heavenly Father for this great nation was awesome. Skydivers brought in parts of the flag, and as everyone unanimously sang our nations anthem, 3 very low jet fighters rumbled the seats as huge fireworks lit the sky red. We worked to hold in our tears at such a beautiful site. Unfortunately, we felt that was the climax of patriotism as the show went down hill from there.
We personally felt that Miley Cyrus (although nothing against her) brought the show down. As you can imagine, thousands of people there were not even concerned with what this day meant, but instead chanted “Miley, Miley” until she would finally come out. And after her little concert was over and fireworks began with remarks of the founders of our nations, our soldiers, and our blessings to live in such a wonderful country, people were already making their way out. We couldn’t even see the fireworks (as amazing as they were) most of the time, cause people were on the way to their cars with their “I love Hanna Montana” T-Shirts on. (Might I mention not in red, white, and blue.) Poor Destiny lost it and just began weeping at the pure ignorance of what our country is and what it stands for.
Although some left, we knew that many thousands of our fellow Americans stayed to celebrate the best nation in the world. Our nation, the great United States of America. We love this country. We love those who have died and suffered hardships for her sake. And we love those who continue to do it, day in and day out. God bless America.

Well independence day came and went, and we had a really good time. We went over to downtown Orlando were a major fireworks show was to be given that night. There were many food and merchandise stands, as well as a couple live concerts going.
We grabbed some sandwiches and set up our chairs about 3 1/2 hours early to get a good viewing spot. The weather was beautiful and the was thousands of people all over enjoying the entertainment.
But the weather didn’t last Black clouds started to group above us, and before we knew it, it started to poor. Luckily, on the way to the festival, Destiny recommended that we pick up some umbrellas. That was a very good choice.
After quite some time of pouring rain, we were lucky enough to get some good nighttime weather to view the fireworks. The fireworks were great.
