A few weeks ago we went out and purchased a bouncer for Tyce. Unfortunately, when we got it home and threw him in, his feet just dangled there like helpless guppies. What is the point of a bouncer that is incapable of bouncing? Well, he stuck with it and he has finally achieved bounciness! Hurray! Now he loves to watch Baby Einstein in his bouncer, and when it playes a song he loves, he bounces like crazy.

It’s my Mom’s birthday today, and I am not in Utah to visit her grave. So I wanted to post one of her poems in her memory. I also added a follow up poem of my own. Happy Birthday Mom! I love you!

Climbing
I am climbing up a slippery hill
And falling down against my will
I don’t care how much I drop
I’ll keep climbing to the top
I am swimming in an ocean
Waves are covering my emotion
But ocean waves can never hide
My feelings deep inside
I am reaching for the skies
As I reach I realize
There’s someone here to pull me through
The heartache to me is new
I am walking through the trees
Taking in the summer breeze
Asking God if he can give
Just one reason I should live

Relief
She was climbing up the hill
And falling down against her will
All her life was a great fight
But she always felt the great light
She was swimming in the ocean
Trying to drown her emotion
But emotion arose not all bad
Emotion arose, but not all sad
Then she would reach for the skies
As she reached she would realize
There’s someone there to pull her through,
Someone who know just what to do!
As she walks through the spirit trees
Taking in the Heavenly breeze
Walking with her Savior close to her
Talking to her Son standing near
She doesn’t have to climb the slippery hill
Or drown her emotion with all her will
She didn’t care how much she‘d drop
And finally she made it to the top!
Ok- so Tyce’s room has been done for awhile, but I haven’t had time to post pictures. It’s still a work in progress, but let me know what you think! I know Ikea loves me for it!
We were honored on Sunday to be part of the very last night shuttle launch ever. Although the shuttle launch was not until 7:30 we headed up close to Cape Canaveral early afternoon in hopes to find a place that would provide a great view of the launch. Our good friends Jon and Ashley were able to bring an RV which provided a great solution for us to wait for the countdown.
When it was finally time to launch it was absolutely beautiful. Colors of orange, red, blue, and white colored the air. Make sure to check out our video and pictures below of this awesome event!

Over the weekend we went an hour and a half north to the Titusville airforce base to see a great spectacle on the ground and in the air. We got up close to about every type of aircraft from every time period you can think of. After a couple hours of mingling with the airplanes, we all gathered near the runway were we then got to see them take off and preform maneuvers in the air. Sorry we didn’t update this one sooner! Tyce is feeling much better! He still wheezes ocasionally when he gets excited- but we are out of the danger zone- and he is as happy as ever!
